Forest Tectonics presents visual exploration of patterns, forms and materialities found at the intersection of physical and digital forest. Through a series of high-resolution digital animations and 3D prints, collided with samples of tree parts collected in Lithuanian forests, Aistė experiments with dramatically different logics of genesis, change and growth. Combining designed, imaginary and real forest qualities Aistė emphasizes reordering the hierarchy and empowering the textural, sensual and invisible setting.
Exhibition seeks to visualise new ways of sensing the surroundings and help to harmonize the missing intimacy between us and the environment.
